Rivu
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Rivu works because people are honest about what they watched and what they thought. These rules keep it that way. They apply to reviews, usernames, and profile photos.
Disagree about films as much as you like. Don't direct hostility, harassment, or slurs at other people. No threats, no impersonation, and don't solicit anyone's personal information.
Mark reviews that give away significant plot points. If you don't, we may add a flag ourselves — and please don't remove one we've added. People watch things at their own pace.
Don't pass off someone else's writing as your own. Quote and credit where you're drawing on someone else.
Don't manipulate scores through coordinated rating, duplicate accounts, or rating things you haven't seen.
Nothing illegal, nothing that infringes someone else's rights, no malware, and no scraping or bulk extraction of the Services.
Use something you have the right to use, and keep it appropriate for a general audience.
If you encounter a review that may break these rules, use the in-app Report action. It opens a prefilled email to support@rivunow.com with the review identifier and the reason you select. You may also email us directly. Reports sent through either route are reviewed manually.
You can block another user from a review or profile. Blocking prevents the two accounts from seeing each other in the app.
We automatically reject review text containing certain prohibited terms. Automated checks are not a substitute for reporting content that gets through.
We may remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts, for breaking these rules. Serious or repeated violations move faster.
If you think we got something wrong, email us at support@rivunow.com and we'll take another look.
These rules will change as the community grows. We'll update this page when they do, the date above will change, and we'll give notice of material changes as described in the Terms of Use.
